002 VVN – Interview with Mel Jackson

In this episode Mack will be interviewing Mel Jackson about his Mel Jacksonservice and contributions to his country during the Vietnam War.

Mel was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Jun 12, 1950. He is a graduate of Ohio University. He and his wife, Kari, live in south central Florida with three children.

Mel served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War in Southeast Asia. He has worked in several fields, including construction, promoting for the Toby Tyler Circus in Sarasota, Florida, worked in juvenile detention centers and was a juvenile probation office. Today he is a counselor.

He serves as the song leader for his church and belongs to severl civic organizations. He enjoys singing, walking, reading and writing.
