One thing the Vietnam War did was to establish strong bonds between the soldiers who served together there. In this episode we will take a look at an article in the Marietta Daily Journal by Sarah Westwood titled “Set in stone: ‘Power’ and ‘passion’ of friendship still strong for Vietnam Veterans.” The subject of the article is the monument being dedicated to Michael Glenn, a Smyrna native who was killed in Vietnam. The strong bonds forged over 40 years ago in that war are still strong and that was demonstrated when soldiers from his unit came from all over the country to attend the dedication of a monument in remembrance of their fallen comrade Michael Glenn.
