In this episode another outstanding member of the Vietnam War Generation is featured. S. Joe Crittenden, U.S. Navy veteran and Deputy Chief of the Cherokee Nation was awarded the 2015 Distinguished Service Award by the Disabled American Veterans of Oklahoma.

The story titled: Cherokee Deputy Chief Earns Award comes from the Muskogee Phoenix. It tells the story of Joe Crittenden and how he has served the Cherokee Nation. He is another example of an American who not only served his country in Vietnam but also when he came home and continued to serve his country. Joe is another example of the great Vietnam Veteran Generation.
