In this episode an article from the Santa Clarita Valley Signal titled: Emmy nomination bittersweet for SCV Vietnam veteran submitted by Jim Holt Signal Senior Staff Writer is featured. It tells about a program that was aired on the National Geographic Channel titled “Brothers in War” released in 2014. It has been nominated for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Historical Programming-Long-Form. The program tells the story of Bill Reynolds as he shares his memories of his experiences in Vietnam when he served with C Company 4/47 Inf, 9th Infantry Division in 1967. Reynolds and his fellow “Brothers in War” anxiously await the naming of the winners.

This is a great thing because it is a part of the nation’s awakening to the realization of the greatness of the Vietnam Veteran Generation. We wish Bill and the other Vietnam Vets involved in this project the best.

Speaking of memories, get a free chapter from my upcoming new book “Conversations with Vietnam Heroes.” All you have to do is go to this link and in seconds you can be reading the thrilling story of a Marine sniper in Vietnam:
