Veterans from across the U.S. visited the Finger Lakes recently, brought here by the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation. Above, they clean up after a duck hunt in Savannah. The veterans included (starting second from left) Jeremy Lake of Pennsylvania, Sammie Braswell of Minnesota, Tony Payne of Indiana and Michael Walker of Texas.

It was submitted by Susan Clark Porter and it tells about a project conducted by the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation. It involved treating five wounded warriors from around the country to a three day deer and duck hunting adventure in the Finger Lakes region. Hope you enjoy the story.
