506 – Vietnam Vet Gunnar Hagstrom flew out of Phu Bai

Gunnar Hagstrom was a loach pilot with the 101st Airborne Division flying out of Hue/Phu Bai. That was one of the most dangerous jobs in that war. He was interviewed by Hannah Potes of the Billings Gazette about his service in Vietnam. Her story was titled: Vietnam Voices: ‘We had our war for a day’. It is a very interesting first person account by a brave Vietnam Veteran.
