507 – Remembering the Vietnam War

Museums about the Vietnam War help us all remember the war, the people who participated and the home front happenings. In this episode the National Vietnam War Museum and the Jefferson Barracks POW-MIA Museum are featured. The National Vietnam War Museum is raising funds to start construction of their phase one. Jim Messinger, the treasurer of the museum board, states that if 84 donors contribute $10,000 each construction can begin. He also pointed out that one can join the museum foundation for $1,000, but that offer is available only until groundbreaking. To make a contribution or get further information about the museum contact Jim Messinger at: 940-452-1470 or email him at messinger@wc.edu. Visit the museum’s website at www.nationalvnwarmuseum.org.
